The Summer Citizens Card is mandatory for everyone celebrating their summer months in Logan. This convenient card entitles the holder to many services and benefits on campus and in the community.
Benefits
Parking (A $35 Value!):
Free parking in lots conveniently located to those areas and buildings
frequented by Summer Citizens. Participants can obtain daily parking
passes for the USU Parking Terrace, a covered facility located in the
heart campus.
Library Privileges & Lectures:
You will have book checkout privileges from USU's library. Additionally
you will receive FREE admission to the Friends of USU Libraries Summer Lecture Series.
Computer Labs:
Access to 10 open access computer labs conveniently located throughout the campus.
Each lab has technicians on hand to assist beginners and advanced individuals alike.
Diner's Club Account:
Cardholders have the opportunity to open a Diner’s Club Account. The Diner’s club account
provides a 10% discount at the Hub, Market Place, and the Skyroom. Simply deposit money
into your account of $10 or more, and then use the Summer Citizens Card as a debit card instead of cash.
Aggie Express Account:
Summer Citizens Card holders may open an Aggie Express Account. This account can be
used at all USU dining facilities (with out a discount), the Campus Quick Stop, the
USU Bookstore, computer labs, and copy centers. Similar to the Diner's Club Account,
the Summer Citizen Card serves as a debit card.
Opera Tickets:
2 for 1 for any performances that will be announced. Check back for updates.
Two for One Lyric Tickets:
On Tuesday and Wednesday evening performances.
USU University Inn:
The newly remodeled University Inn is USU's guest hotel located at the heart
of campus. Summer Citizen Card holders and their guests receive a 10% discount
when they stay at the University Inn.
Free Dessert with the purchase of a meal at the USU Skyroom Restaurant, located on
the 4 th Floor, Taggart Student Center :
You won't want to miss this treat. Receive one free dessert, with the purchase of a meal.
Free Scoop of Famous Aggie Ice Cream:
Aggie Ice Cream is a staple on campus. People travel from around the state just for
a taste of this delicious and creamy delight!
Bessinger Convenience Centers:
Fill up your gas tank (minimum of $10.00 gas purchase) at any one of out locations:
Best Stop 3rd South, Airport Rd. Best Stop or Aggie Station and receive a free 22 oz. drink.

Vendors throughout the Cache Valley supply participants in the Summer Citizens Program
with coupons and discounts that can save you over $150.

How Do I Obtain a Summer Citizens Card?
Registration begins March 3, 2008. Registration forms will be available in the USU
Summer Citizens Program Housing, Education and Activity Guide mailed to your home
in January, 2008 or you can register for your Summer Citizens Card by phone at 1-800-538-2663.
