Student Furnished Course Supplies/Prerequisites: Tour fee is $85, capacity is 52 registrants. Departs at 8:30 am and return at 3:00 pm.

Course Description: Come hear storiestold by a veteran USAF pilot. Bring your camera and hat as this is a walking tour, with the first 2 hours outside in the sun. Some of the stories include: Medal of Honor Winner Bernie Fisher in his Sandy Skyraider; the fastest plane ever built, the SR-71;and the fighters stationed at HAFB over the years. Transportation, lunch, water, and fun are included! Park your vehicles in the Maverik Football Stadium Parking Lot (corner of 1000 N and 800 E) to board the bus. See map on page 7.

Course Instructor: Andreas “Baron” Wesemann is an assistant professor in the Aviation Technology Program. He arrived at USU in 2015 after more than 27 years in the U.S. Air Force. While serving in the Air Force, Wesemann worked as an instructor pilot in five different aircraft, taught German at the Air Force Academy, and instructed at Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training. His professional interests are in areas related to aviation, including curriculum development, leadership and ethics in the cockpit, and safety and risk management systems.
