Course Description: Did Hollywood affect the aviation industry or did the aviation industry affect Hollywood? Come see what started society's romance with aviation and what lead to their break up. Did they make up? Find out the answers to these questions while we discuss the romance, action, adventure, war, comedy and drama of aviation in film. Movie list will be published prior to class.

Course Instructor: Terri Wesemann is a Utah State University graduate student studying aviation folklore. She instructs a technical communication class and is collaborating with the Hill Aerospace Museum on a World War II nose art exhibit. Her undergraduate degree is in American Studies focusing on History and literature with a minor in English. She interned in the History of Aviation in America class where she helped develop a new curriculum and co-taught the Summer Citizen's class on the History of Aviation in America. Terri is married to a pilot and has spent half her life around aviation.
