Student Furnished Course Supplies/Prerequisites: Have a Gmail email account prior to class.

Course Description: Google Drive is an office suite of software similar to Microsoft Office. You can create and edit Documents, Spreadsheets, and PowerPoint type documents on any computer that has Internet access. You are no longer handcuffed to one computer. If you have a Gmail account, you already have it for free. Nothing to buy or update...EVER!. Google Drive is the cornerstone of the Google Cloud and provides you access to other goodies from Google. You will learn how to use Google Drive and understand the ins and outs. You will learn how to create, edit and share Google Docs, Sheets and Slides and collaborate with others. Lots of hands on activities. This class is in the computer lab. Google Drive will work on PCs; Android phones and tablets; iPhones, iPads and Macs.

Course Instructor: Cathy Oberkampf has been a trainer/facilitator for 30+ years. Cathy has taught over 10 years in the Utah State Summer Citizens program, was a trainer and training manager at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, and taught at Habitat for Humanity International for a number of years. She also teaches at her church and at other non-profit organizations in her hometown of New Braunfels, TX where she now resides again.
