Student Furnished Course Supplies/Prerequisites: pencil, scissors, great sense of fun

Course Description: Create beautiful cards for friends and family. These will be displayed longer than store bought cards because they can be personalized. You'll receive supplies for 8-10 cards. Embellishments, cards, and envelopes are included in the course fee of $14. You'll learn to use die cutting machines, how to sell your cards and get tips on what materials to buy. Extravagant designs may require extra embellishments at students' expense. Bring cutters, scorers, tape runners, and scissors, if available. I have these items to use, also. Come and be amazed at your creation and have FUN!!

Course Instructor: Paulette has been involved in many art adventures from oil paintings to stained glass. Her current passion is custom card design covering all seasons and venues. She sells her art at Art and Craft Shows, vendor sales, and has even sold at our Gardener's Market in Logan. Her cards can also be found at Bob's Variety in Sun City West. She teaches at several facilities in Arizona as well as in her home studio. She is very excited to be a part of the Summer Citizen's Teaching Staff. Her class will teach you to make cards that are so special that they will be treasured keepsakes.
