Water aerobics can optimally be applied to those with weak joints, chronic injuries, and fatigue as well as other issues as the water allows for a near-weightless experience for more motion through the water. The main form of resistance will be resistance of the water to increase physical fitness of participants. The motions incorporated into class sessions include jumping, crunching, twisting, kicking, pushing and pulling. The primary goal of this course is to improve overall physical fitness and health of class participants.

JJ has group facilitator experience both in and out of the pool. He has led groups through physically challenging activities at the USU Challenge Course on top of his many sessions instructing water aerobics. JJ has a background in many different sports including football, wrestling and weightlifting. He incorporates these sports' training techniques to create a unique and powerful experience.
