Student Furnished Course Supplies/Prerequisites: Have Gmail email account prior to class.

Course Description: You will learn how to use Gmail emails, contacts and calendars as well as Google Drive and other Google gems. Learn how to: Send and Receive email; and Label, Delete and Archive your Gmail as well as report spam and receive email from all your email accounts in one Gmail Inbox; create contacts and groups and cleanup and merge your contacts; create calendar events, invite others and share calendars; and finally create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in Google Drive and collaborate with others. You will learn and practice all of these. You will also learn how to use Google Chrome to have your bookmarks with you anywhere and how you can connect your Google account to your various devices, PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, iPad and more. This class is in the computer lab on campus.

Course Instructor: Cathy Oberkampf has been a trainer/facilitator for 30+ years. Cathy has taught over 10 years in the Utah State Summer Citizens program, was a trainer and training manager at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, and taught at Habitat for Humanity International for a number of years. She also teaches at her church and at other non-profit organizations in her hometown of New Braunfels, TX where she now resides again.
