LYRIC REPERTORY COMPANY

A message from Paul T. Mitri, USU Lyric Repertory Company, Artistic Producer
On behalf of the Lyric Rep team, I can say that we have missed you. While we've spent the last many months planning what this summer might look like, we wanted to make sure that we programmed something that matched our audience's tastes—something entertaining, but also challenging, smart, wryly funny and new. That is how we've come up with the current crop of titles. This season also gives us the chance to highlight stories and advocate for voices that have not been heard as much as they should, to challenge our view of our place in the world.

Lyric Rep 2021 Season
  • 3 Staged Readings: The Mountaintop, Dreaming American, and The Thanksgiving Play
  • interACT: A new series of one-person shows where the audience is invited to interact with the creators and offer feedback.
  • 1 live showing of a pre-recorded reading of All the Way (the prequal to 2019's Great Society with most of the 2019 company returning)
  • 3rd Annual Vosco Call Spotlight Concert – live showing of a pre-recorded concert, July 14, 7:30 PM
